■ proboards has a terms of service we all have to abide by and while most of it we ignore there’s a few we do stick to. for a start no under thirteens are allowed - that’s not our rule it’s theirs so bitch to them if you have a problem, and secondly any porn or explicit material we find whether it be in a post, or your graphics, will be removed with no warning. we have the right to do it the same as they have the right to remove this board without giving us a chance to rectify anything furthermore if this rule is broken you’ll find your account, your ip address and your email account deleted and banned from this forum.

■ you must respect your fellow members at all times, and this includes saying racist, religious, homophobic, or just plain discriminative remarks. treat those as you wish to be treated; manners don’t cost anything, use them - period. but i’m sure this goes without saying, right?

■ display names should be the first, middle and last name of your character for example - landon nicholas cooper and most definitely should be in lowercase. it keeps it nice and uniform at the bottom of the page, kids. additionally avatars should be 150x200px signatures have been disabled on this board.

■ application form or graphic jacking will not be tolerated here. ever. use your own initiative, and skills to make your own and write your own otherwise you’ll find yourself removed, and banned. we’ve all had our stuff nicked and it’s not cool.

■ activity is a big thing here. we’re aware people have a life outside of the board, the admins have them too, but still if you're joining a board we expect some form of commitment to it this also applies to wanted characters that have been taken on or a plot idea that’s been taken on also. we’re more than keen on activity checks here and if we suspect the activity is lacking we’ll post one. keep active, lovelies.

■ mary sues jerk everyone off including the admins. make your characters realistic people. we're not trying to say people don't have it tough but there's a line and you should know when you've crossed it.

■ absolutely no characters taken from anything else. whether it be a book or movie they won’t be accepted. no edward cullens, no chuck bass’ and no dean winchesters. got it? good.

■ please no anime, cartoons or drawings they’re definitely not permitted here regardless of the situation or writer’s preference. there are hundreds of celebrities out there the same with models whether they be well known or lesser known ones. we can give you links to several sites with boards made specifically for play-by help.

■ ages. again, this is a must, please don’t use a celebrity/ model that’s obviously younger/older than the age you’re portraying it’s silly. yes, we all know angelina jolie is lovely looking but she’s clearly not seventeen. remember this one when you’re looking for a play by.

■ godmodding/power playing isn’t permitted here and never will be under any circumstance. there are ways around things if you find yourself stuck in a thread; use your imagination perhaps they get a call and have to leave in a hurry? it happens it real life so it can happen here. you can’t predict someone else’s thoughts or moves here.
